It’s no surprise that the Garden State ranks third nationwide in peach production.
PEACH PARTY
Jersey peaches have a well-deserved reputation for outstanding flavor. Come August, freshly picked peaches will be filling up tables at farmers’ markets and stores statewide. To celebrate, the Collingswood Farmers’ Market hosts its annual one-day Just Peachy Party in honor of the delicious fruit. Enjoy peach pies, cobblers, goodies, live music and more. Better yet, put your baking skills to the test and enter the market’s 2019 Peach Pie Baking Contest. A few days later, the town of Collingswood continues the festivities by hosting its Just Peachy Restaurant Week.
