Peaches

Celebrate Jersey Fresh and one of our state’s favorite fruits by joining us for our annual Just Peachy Festival on August 7 & 8, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The weekend will be filled with plenty of activities for kids, including pony rides, games and barnyard fun. Kids can enjoy pony rides, rubber duck races, interactive, hands-on fun in the Discovery Barn, a scavenger hunt and old-fashioned games.

Enjoy live music each day noon-4pm. Stone Hearth plays on Saturday, and Stoneybrook Bluegrass Band is here on Sunday.

Eyes of the Wild, a traveling zoo will present two shows a day, at 12:45pm and 2pm, on Saturday and Sunday in the Big Barn.  This educational program with live animals will mesmerize toddlers through grownups.

Pam Mount’s popular Canning & Freezing class will kick off the demonstrations on Saturday August 7th at 10:30am. Learn her secrets for preserving peaches and other fruits and vegetables at their peak, and get answers to your canning and freezing questions. Peaches, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, tomatoes and corn are easy to freeze or can at the height of their freshness. Follow Pam’s easy directions and you’ll have a delicious reminder of your Terhune visit to enjoy during the cold winter months.

Pam’s Everything Peachy Food Tent will offer tasty summer fare such as barbecued chicken, hot dogs, homemade gazpacho, salads, and our famous apple cider donuts. Cool off with one of our refreshing locally made ice creams in the Just Peachy Ice Cream Social tent and other delicious Peach treats.

Adults can enjoy the taste of summer in a glass with our award-winning Just Peachy wine. Sample a flight of our white, red and fruit wines.

Baskets overflowing with just-picked peaches and nectarines are ready to take home from the farm store to make your favorite peach recipes. Or try one of our freshly baked, old- fashioned peach cobblers, or pies.

Winery & Farm Store: For weekend entry, admission tickets must be purchased. Winery seating limited to 2 hours, maximum of 8 guests per group.
