Something’s been brewing at Triumph Brewing Company, the longtime Princeton mainstay: a stunning renovation of the former post office in Palmer Square, aka their new digs.

“This is a historical preservation project, marrying the modern restaurant and brewery with a historic 1930s post office,” says Eric M. Nutt, Triumph corporate sales manager. “We wanted to do it thoughtfully.”

The venue opened its basement bar, Der Keller, at the end of June, with plans to open the remaining space in September. Various menus will be available upstairs in the new dining space.

Triumph offers nine beers on tap, brewed fresh in house. They also sell crowlers—32-ounce cans of draft beer, seamed right off the tap—to go, making Oktoberfest celebrations, tailgate parties, and relaxed evenings by the grill a lot more delicious. Along with the new Princeton site, Triumph also has locations in Red Bank (NJ) and New Hope (PA).
