Edible Jersey CSA Guide

CSA [community supported agriculture] programs help farms to be more financially sustainable while providing consumers with access to fresh, healthy food. Members of a CSA commit to supporting the farmer before or during the growing season, either with payment of a one-time fee or a series of installments. In exchange, the farmer provides an abundance of Jersey Fresh produce and other add-ons, usually in weekly boxes, to members during harvest.

Most CSAs offer membership sign-up between February and May; some accept members year ‘round.  All offer a unique opportunity to ‘know your farmer; know your food’, and many of our favorites are listed below. Visit their websites for more info, and join a CSA in 2025.
