
Thai Turkey Lettuce Wraps

Ingredients
- 1–2 tablespoons canola oil for pan
- 1 medium onion diced
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger (fresh or jarred)
- 1½ pounds ground turkey
- ¼ cup + 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1½ tablespoons rice vinegar
- Zest of 1 lime
- Lettuce leaves (butter or romaine)
- Lime wedges, cilantro and red pepper flakes for serving
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large pan. Sauté onion and garlic until tender, about 5 minutes, then add ginger.
- Add turkey and cook until browned and no longer pink. Add hoisin and soy sauce and rice vinegar. Cook on low for about 5 minutes, until thickened. Add lime zest and stir to combine.
- Serve in lettuce leaves, topping with lime juice from wedges, cilantro, and red pepper flakes as desired.
