Ingredients
For Juniper Syrup:
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup raw sugar
- 2 tablespoons crushed juniper berries
- 1 teaspoon crushed coriander seeds
- 1 piece star anise
- ½ teaspoon cracked black pepper
Instructions
- Combine equal parts pomegranate juice, hibiscus tea, and Juniper Syrup (recipe to follow) over ice. Stir vigorously for 1 minute. Strain over new ice, top with seltzer, and garnish as desired. Combine all and bring to a boil. Reduce to very low heat and cook for 15–20 minutes. Strain, chill, and keep in a covered container in the fridge for up to two weeks.
