
Mince Pie
Adapted from a recipe believed to have originated in Newark around 1890.
Ingredients
- 2¼ ounces applejack
- ¾ ounce Yellow Chartreuse
- 1 dash orange bitters
- Lemon peel, for garnish
Instructions
- Add the applejack, Chartreuse, and bitters into an ice-filled mixing glass, and stir until chilled, about 30 seconds. Strain into a chilled cocktail coupe. Squeeze the lemon peel over the drink’s surface and drop it into the glass.
