For Eat Drink Local Restaurant Week, The Fox & Falcon is presenting a vegetarian menu with the Garden State’s bounty starring as the main attraction in each course.

FIRST COURSE

Panzanella Salad // heirloom tomato, cucumber, sourdough croutons, basil vinaigrette
a classic Tuscan salad with soft, ripened heirloom tomatoes, garlic and thyme croutons, with local cucumbers from Alstede Farm, garnished with basil leaves and dressed with a basil vinaigrette

SECOND COURSE

Casarecce Peperoni // assortment of peppers, red pepper juice, garlic, tomato, basil
a vegan dish with a luscious mouthfeel due to its assortment of peppers (mild, spicy, colorful), which are cut and sautéed, then married with a sauce composed of the juice of red bell peppers that have been emulsified with olive oil, lending a buttery texture to the dish, then finished with basil and lemon juice. 
 
DESSERT

Summer Pavlova // seasonal fruit, vanilla bean mascarpone, meringue, chocolate crumb

$32 per person 
(Optional flight of three half-pints of draft beers from select New Jersey breweries +$10.)
