“Our vineyard and winery have been rewarding additions to our family farm. We’re thrilled to welcome new and returning customers to experience our Jersey Fresh wines and expanded events, music series, festivals, and wine trails. With 14 wines, made from our own grapes and apple cider, there is a wine for every palate.” —Tannwen Mount

In 1975, Gary and Pam Mount purchased the 55- acre farm that is Terhune Orchards. Their business has continued to grow, now farming 200 acres on four farms. The farm soon became a place for the public to gather, featuring more than 50 varieties of fresh fruits and organic vegetables—and hosts many community events, festivals, and school trips. The Mounts’ daughter, Tannwen, dreamed of starting a winery on the farm after taking trips through Napa Valley. In 2003, her dream became a reality. The family planted 12 varieties of grapes across eight acres, and by 2010, the winery had found success not only from the grapes but also from Terhune Orchards’ own apple cider, the base of Apple Wine. The Mounts’ daughter, Reuwai, and her family joined in managing the farm, overseeing the growing and wine making in Terhune’s new wine barn
