New York Oyster Week expands to the "6th Borough": Inspired by the 31 page Special Report on Oysters in the High Summer Issue of Edible Jersey, this event is our first annual and first ever NJ event. It will feature some of the finest oysters grown in The Garden State paired with The Oyster Farmers, a film about some of these oysters and those who produce them.

Celebrating the Oyster Revival in progress in The Garden State, the event will showcase some of New Jersey’s finest oysters and oyster growers for up to 50 guests.

Some of the oysters will even be shucked and served by the men and women who grew them. All oysters will be shucked live and served raw on the half shell. The finest sauces and accoutrement will be available to dress your oysters. Finally, we’ll pass some oysters we’ve roasted in the pizza oven. To learn more about the Oyster Revival going on in NJ these days check out the 31 page Special Report in Edible Jersey here.
