Morven in May: Contemporary Craft & Garden
Morven in May, one of Princeton’s most anticipated Spring events, is a juried exhibition and sale featuring the work of thirty-six contemporary craft artists from around the U.S.
This year’s esteemed juror, Lena Stringari, Deputy Director of The Guggenheim Museum, selected the 2018 exhibitors, whose exquisite work in glass, ceramics, wood, decorative and wearable fiber, jewelry, furniture, metal, and basketry will be displayed in gallery-style booths under a grand tent on the museum’s Great Lawn.
Alongside the craft show tent, Morven offers for sale a distinct collection of plants for your garden. The Morven heirloom plant sale will include unique varieties of annuals and perennials, flowering shrubs, and select plants propagated from Morven’s own garden.
The long weekend kicks off with a Thursday evening, May 3, Preview Party, then opens to the public on Friday morning for three days of art and garden treasure hunting! There is a scavenger hunt for children, and a Show Cafe presented by Jammin' Crepes of Princeton.
