Come learn about the magic of fermentation! It's time to get cultured and discover the many health benefits of the fermented beverage, kombucha. Plus, we will explore how to optimize gut health and the critical role fermented food and beverages play in this process.

During this workshop, you will learn:
-The importance of gut health for immunity, disease prevention, and overall health
-The health benefits of fermented foods/beverages
-The four step protocol for gut healing (including fermented food/beverages)
-How to brew homemade kombucha (and save money)
-How to maintain a kombucha culture
-How to flavor your kombucha with a secondary fermentation
-How to choose high quality store bought kombucha

After the workshop, you will receive:
-Your very own kombucha culture to start your own homemade brew (bring a mason jar with a lid to carry it home)
-A step by step recipe guide for brewing kombucha at home
-A step by step guide for flavoring kombucha

This workshop will be taught by Jessica Yaeger, a certified Culinary Nutrition Expert, healthy food blogger and nutrition educator, not to mention lover of all things Italy and slow food travel. She teaches people how to nourish and heal their body, using food as medicine, so they can live life fully -- doing things they love -- like, traveling Italy.
