Spring has sprung and wild thing are growing at Cherry Grove Farm! Join us for a guided foraging adventure as we explore the meadows and fields searching for wild edibles. Together we will collect a cache of fresh, local ingredients to use in a forest to fork style dinner (happening after the walk). Plus bring a pouch and collect some edibles to bring home! A local, seasoned chef will be joining us in the cottage garden to craft our wild edible plants into a tasty meal. watch and learn, enjoy a tasty cocktail and share a delicious meal with new friends.


 

During this adventure: you will,

-Explore the meadows and fields of the farm on a guided walk

-Identify local, wild edible plants safe for eating

-Forage ingredients for dinner (plus bring some home to enjoy)

-Learn new recipes utilizing wild plants

-Share a tasty cocktail with friends (BYOB)

-Enjoy a full dinner and dessert with new friends


 

After the adventure, you will receive:

-Reference guide of local, wild edibles native to our area

-All recipes created that evening


 

This workshop will be taught by Jessica Yaeger, a certified Culinary Nutrition Expert, healthy food blogger and nutrition educator, not to mention lover of all things Italy and slow food travel. She teaches people how to nourish and heal their body, using food as medicine, so they can live life fully -- doing things they love -- like, traveling Italy.
