Community Pig Roast to Benefit Veronica's Medical Fund
What, where and when:
On Sunday, October 22 from 3-7PM, we’ll be hosting a fundraiser to help Veronica with the costs of the intensive care that she received. Tickets for the event will be $55 and will include a pig roast (with vegetarian option available), 2 seasonal draft cocktails, and pumpkin painting. We’ll have live music and are planning a silent auction showcasing our local community.
Why:
This past June one of our Nauti Spirits family members, our Apprentice Distiller, Veronica, was involved in a near-fatal car accident on the parkway. After being air lifted to Atlantic Care, Veronica spent 6 days in the ICU and was treated for pneumonia due to aspiration. Her left arm was shattered and will require multiple surgeries & plates to repair. Her rehabilitation is ongoing & extensive and due to a lapse in coverage for this catastrophic event, the resulting medical bills have climbed to a point where we need your help.
Veronica has made a miraculous recovery from her injuries thus far, and we’re so glad to have her back with us at Nauti Spirits. Now, we’re reaching out to you, our neighbors and friends, in the hopes that you can help our family in this time of need.
